The Course

The race runs through a closed course within Volunteer Park.

Rules

Race is held rain or shine.  Held under USA Cycling Permit #2020-500.  2020 license required.  Annual license available for purchase at registration.  One-day license available for Cat 5 men and Cat 5 women.  Waivers must be signed at registration prior to each individual race except for pre-registration though USA Cycling.  Fields with less that 10 starters can be combined at race director’s discretion.  All prizes will be awarded at the podium ceremonies and winners must be present to receive their awards.

Increased racing time and additional categories

We will continue to work with the USA Cycling officials to limit the pulling of riders out of contention. We have reorganized the races in every category to give you the maximum time to race your bikes, and given more opportunities for both the men and women to enter additional races during the day.

Race course preparation

The race course will be swept twice before the race to eliminate the moss and any debris present.  Creating the safest course is our priority.  The Bollard plates will be securely covered with duct tape and a nonslip surface.  Crossing guards and corner marshals are present to ensure the safety of the race course.
